woman believes, night cream does all the magic it promises to do,
night cream sighs, itself is merely a placebo.
sooner or later, age will climb up the very face,
where the finger dances... ...

should the night cream fess up to the woman? A asked,
Of course not, said B,
Both of them are merely doing their jobs,
to fool or to be fooled.

so every night,
night cream still standing guiltily in the cabinet
waiting for the woman to put it on her face,
wishfully thinking, maybe someday,
someday the woman will go straight to bed from shower,
forget to apply her night cream... ...
