Quest China
The first Chinese Reality TV Show "Quest China" is still accetping contestants right now til the end of April. They quest USA last summer, I just catched a snippet of it, the contestants were divided into 4 teams, main land chinese, hongkonese, taiwanese, and American-born-Chinese. Personally, I am not a big fan of the idea, to think that Chinese people are already deeply divided. On the other hand, if you want a free trip to China and a possibility to get famous on TV, send in those applications asap!

the show will take about a month and will air in fall. I am so glad that she majors in Mandrin, do you happen to know what piqued her interest in chinese?
